About us
Rock Village Church is an historic, evangelical, and Baptist church in South Middleborough, MA. We are a body of believers living in light of Christ's return by reading, singing, praying, and proclaiming His gospel from God's Word. Our heartbeat is the worship of Christ as King and Savior.
Our vision
Our vision is to behold and proclaim Christ through the reading of His Word, prayer, and singing. We are committed to gathering as the church in the worship of Christ and to lead others to come to Him by faith.
Our values
Our life as a church body is anchored in the gospel of Christ, lives of worship, prayer, love for the church, and love for the lost.
Our beliefs
Our church holds to the authority of Scripture, the glory of the Triune God, the depravity of man, justification by faith in Christ alone, and the resurrection of the body when Christ comes again.
Our story
A group of ten people first covenanted together on August 4, 1761 to form the Third Calvinistic Baptist Church under the leadership of Isaac Backus. Now called Rock Village Church, we seek to proclaim and glorify Christ in the village and beyond.
Our leadership
Our church is currently served by two elders and a team of deacons.
Our services
We gather on Sundays for Equipping Classes at 9:00 am, Worship at 10:30 am, and on Wednesdays for Bible Study at 6:00 pm.
