Rock Village Church “We proclaim Christ” Colossians 1:28

Rock Village Church is a Christ-centered congregation with roots deep in the history of our community, yet with a vision for the future and the challenge of new ministries it will bring. Gathered in 1761, our church has a rich history of its own, one of three fellowships begun through the ministry of the Reverend Isaac Backus, a prominent 18th century Baptist pastor. Drawing from these origins and the teaching of Scripture, our ministry is evangelical and reformed Baptist.

Though of varied religious experience and backgrounds, we are one in our devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ, a fellowship of caring people seeking to build a warm, Christian community. You will find that we place a strong emphasis on family ministry - children participate in the worship service and our Bible Discovery Hour includes 2-3 year olds on up to our senior members, all in the context of a desire to minister the whole Gospel to the whole person, an atmosphere where every individual has a special place.

Our commitment is to be a presence for Christ in the village as we hold forth the Word of Life, reaching out and ministering to the needs of the community.
