Adult Ministries

Bible Discovery Hour – During this time, the adult class tackles relevant
topics and studies the Bible ‘s teaching on them. Class materials are
often available (some receive them by email) for preparation ahead
of time to strengthen participation.

Midweek Bible Studies – On Wednesdays, we gather at 7:00 p.m. for a time
of worship through singing and prayer and the study of Scripture
(usually a book of the Bible). It is a time of thoughtful Bible study
and discussion. There is also a small group Bible study meeting on
Tuesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. at the church.

Men’s Breakfast – The men meet at 8:00 a.m. the first Saturday of the
month for breakfast and Bible Study.

Women’s Breakfast – The women meet at 8:30 a.m. generally the second
Saturday of the month for breakfast and Bible study.

Special Ministries and Activities

Fellowship Dinners following Lord’s Supper worship the first Sunday of the month
Monthly prayer meetings
Monthly Outreach on Boston Common
Missions Emphasis Month
Serving Thanksgiving Dinner at Salvation Army
Live Christmas Pageant

Children/Youth Ministries

Bible Discovery Hour (Sundays, 9:00 a.m.) – During this hour there are classes for
pre-schoolers through adults to explore the Bible, discover its truths
and discern how they apply to your life.

Children’s Worship – Younger children are given an opportunity to be
present during the first part of worship during which there is a
children’s sermon and then to be part of a program that is geared
for their age group.

Youth Fellowship– A ministry for youth in grades 6-12 which combines Bible
teaching, worship, games, refreshments and special activities

Kid’s Club – A ministry for children in grades 1-5 meeting in the late
afternoon on Tuesdays teaching and activities geared especially
for that age group

PlayGroup – A ministry to moms and their pre-school children

Children’s Day – A special day toward the end of the school year that
celebrates not only our children and youth and all they have learned
and experienced during the year, but also Bible Discovery teachers
and youth leaders. A picnic follows the celebration.

Vacation Bible School – A week during the summer of Bible teaching, singing,
recreation, refreshments centered around a kid-friendly theme. The
week concludes with a presentation by the children for family and
friends and with a cookout afterwards.
